Rocks and Fossils An Education committee is currently reviewing the Museum School OutReach Kits. A new rock and fossil kit has just been completed with the generous donation from The Society of Petroleum Engineers. Super new Rock and Fossil kits available for loan. Ideal for 6th grade science frameworks. The kit contains interesting rock and mineral samples. If you have an interest in checking out the kit please call and leave a message for Gary Prober, Education Committee Chair at the Museum, just call (805) 614-0806. The kit is free of cost to use and the rocks are heavy, so you need muscles to pick this one up and bring it back. Program sponsored by The Society of Petroleum Engineers. |
